Indie Games Collective

Natalie was a co-founder of the Indie Games Collective, along with respected industry veterans Byron Atkinson-Jones (@xiotex) and Andy Payne (@percyblakeney63). The IGC is a UK-based volunteer gathering of indie developers and evangelists whose goal is to encourage collaboration, knowledge sharing and support across the indie scene via a series of free events.

Their first event was hosted by Ukie on September 2013 and included a roster of high-profile speakers including Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Amazon, and a panel of influential games PR and media.

This was¬†followed by a 2-day ‘GDC for indies’ event on 21st/22nd March 2014 – the IGC Conference for Game Developers. Hosted by London South Bank University and sponsored by GreenMan Gaming, the sold-out event welcomed 300 attendees and featured 35 varied speakers, deliberately mixing experienced conference speakers with less-experienced indies wanting to make their mark.

Natalie played a key role in organising and running these events, securing speakers and managing the supporting social media presence.
